Responsibilities

• Manage life‑support equipment, including ventilators
• Titrate complex intravenous medications
• Interpret vital signs and perform comprehensive head‑to‑toe assessments
• Administer medications and coordinate advanced care with a multidisciplinary medical team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience (floating is not considered) – REQUIRED
• EKG experience – REQUIRED
• Willingness to float to similar units – REQUIRED
• Experience in Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma – PREFERRED
• Experience managing ventilators – PREFERRED
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and balloon pumps – PREFERRED

Additional Requirements

• Skills checklist – REQUIRED (must be documented)
• Current Michigan nursing license verification required
• Active certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory at the time of submission
• Attendance policy: three instances of being absent or more than 20 minutes late will result in immediate termination, with exclusions for communicable diseases or hospitalization when documented
• Availability every other weekend; on‑call duties may be required

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with guaranteed hours and availability required every other weekend. On‑call duties may be assigned.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
