Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Neuro ICUDiscipline: RNStart Date: 10/12/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelTravel Neuro ICU RN | 12-Hour NightsJoin an 18-bed Neuro ICU caring for acute stroke, ventriculostomy, and post-craniectomy patients.Unit DetailsRatios: 1:2 in Neuro ICU.EMR: Epic.Charge nurse each shift; may take an assignment depending on staffing.House supervisor available 24/7.Patient care tech support at a 1:9 ratio.Telemetry tech each shift; RNs interpret their own strips using Philips monitors.Required Qualifications & SkillsBLS (AHA) and ACLS.NIH Stroke Scale certification.Ventriculostomy care, ventilators, arterial lines, and central lines.tPA administration, acute stroke management, and post-craniectomy care.Ability to titrate ICU drips. Scheduling & Floating12-hour night shifts.Every other weekend and rotating every other holiday.No call or standby requirement.Travelers float first, including to intermediate and general care units.Float ratios: 1:3 in intermediate care and 1:4 on general floors.Orientation & Contract NotesUnit orientation: 20 hours—one 8-hour shift and one 12-hour shift.OSF lists 12 non-billable orientation hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.Facility may cancel up to 12 hours per 13-week contract without payment for the canceled hours.Local candidates within 50 miles are subject to a reduced rate; confirm the candidate pay package.Submission RequirementsLast four digits of SSN and middle initial.Requested time off.Active Illinois RN license or confirmation the application has been initiated.
