Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,145 per week

Job Summary

The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, post-operative craniotomy, seizures, and neurologic tumors. The role involves assessing and managing hemodynamically unstable and mechanically ventilated patients in a neuro-critical care setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours shift time, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• 2 years of experience in neuro ICU.
• Comprehensive assessment skills.
• Experience caring for hemodynamically unstable and mechanically ventilated patients.
• Thorough neurological assessment skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Use of pupillometer.
• External ventricular drain (EVD) management.
• Intracranial pressure (ICP) waveform management.
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
