Role & Responsibilities
Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature neonates in the NICU, including assessments, medication administration, operating advanced equipment, and assisting with procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop individualized care plans, and support families through education and emotional support.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires at least one year of recent NICU experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- PREFERRED: Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification (RNC-NIC), PALS or ENPC
- Essential skills include critical thinking, interpersonal communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and ability to work under pressure
- Must possess visual acuity and effective communication abilities
