About the role
The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Mental Health for a 13-week contract in Sterling, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health care services under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient interactions and progress in the electronic health record system (Epic).
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Illinois.
- Previous travel experience as a Psych RN or Behavioral Health RN.
- Epic experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of mental health care practices and procedures.
Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 12 hours, nights.
