About the role
Travel nurse RN Mental Health needed for a 6-week assignment in Ripley, Tennessee. This role is part of a new Behavioral Health facility affiliated with a local hospital. The unit is a lockdown unit that receives patients from the hospital’s ER and post-detox for treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a secure behavioral health setting.
- Assess, monitor, and support patients with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing.
- 2+ years of recent psychiatric RN experience.
- Ability to start ASAP and commit to a 6-week contract.
Schedule
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Hours per week: 36 guaranteed
