The Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions
- Monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document care
- Ensure safety and infection control
- Advocate for patients
- Assist with discharge planning
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- A valid RN license
- Certified BLS
- Possesses preferred certifications including NIHSS and ACLS
- Strong critical thinking, communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and stress management
