Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, managing patients with conditions such as atrial fibrillation, post-heart catheterization, and higher oxygen needs.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips, perform continuous telemetry monitoring, and respond to patient condition changes.
• Offer step-down care for patients transitioning from ICU and float to other units as needed, completing required training and orientation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Active RN license in Tennessee
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• At least 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• PREFERRED: experience with step-down patients, cardiac monitoring, arrhythmias, and dialysis care
