Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $3,070 per week

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Med Surg / Telemetry units, including but not limited to 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, and SOTU
• Administer drips as required on all floors
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential floating to Bellevue campus
• Work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period (days: Saturday and Sunday; nights: Friday night and Saturday night)
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving: W/Th/F; Christmas: 24/25/26; New Year’s: 31/1/2)
• Use EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs (assigned on some floors)

Requirements

• Current BLS certification (ACLS strongly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
• Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center (required for first-time travelers)
• Must be more than 100 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Pending license accepted, but must be in hand at time of submission for immediate start; otherwise, booking will be six weeks out
• Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logo (information provided upon confirmation)
