Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,775 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) position located in Des Moines, IA. This role involves providing high-quality med surg care, including overflow of post-operative surgical patients such as hips and knees, and care for psychiatric patients. The position requires flexibility to float across multiple campuses and adherence to specific unit policies and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical surgical care
• Manage overflow of post-operative surgical patients (e.g., hip and knee replacements)
• Provide care for psychiatric patients
• Float across multiple campuses as needed
• Adhere to unit policies and scheduling
• Willing to work 1-2 upcoming Winter holidays if the unit is open

Requirements

• Active Iowa (IA) RN license or multi-state compact license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 24 months of current Med Surg or Med Surg Telemetry experience
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Experience caring for psychiatric patients (preferred)
• Precepting experience (preferred)
• Prior charge or supervisor experience (preferred)
• Professional references from within the last 24 months (preferred)
