About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Portland, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit.
- Adhere to patient ratios and equipment needs as specified.
- Utilize EMR system Epic for documentation.
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and other specialized equipment as needed.
- Administer treatments such as epidural pumps, IV pumps, PCA pumps, and VAC dressings.
- Perform trach care and maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Maine.
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred.
- Knowledge of and ability to use the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and related equipment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
