Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,500 per week

About the role

• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every-other-weekend, every-other-holiday schedule
• Local rate applies if you reside within 50 miles of the facility; local rate is $10 less than the posted bill rate
• No extended requested time off; most Fridays will be required

Responsibilities

• Provide acute-care nursing on multiple Med-Surg/Telemetry units
• Monitor and independently interpret telemetry strips
• Pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84 % or better (two attempts allowed)
• Administer IV medications using Meditech
• Adapt quickly to different units and workflows

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and IV therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of acute-care experience
• Previous float experience across 5 or more Med-Surg/Telemetry units
