Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,535 per week

Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse (MS/Tele) in a short-term acute care setting in Olympia, Washington. Start date: 10/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. This role involves floating across different units to meet the needs of diverse patient populations, with responsibilities that may include charge nurse duties on small units. The position requires experience in the US and offers a dynamic environment with varying patient acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Float across Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities on small units with limited personnel.
• Manage staffing needs, bed flow, and unit coordination.
• Provide care to patients with varying acuity levels (patient ratio 1:4-6).

Requirements

• Valid state RN license (compact license accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of US nursing experience (additional requirement: minimum 2 years of nursing experience including charge experience).
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work the specified schedule (12‑hour day shifts, 48 hours per week).
• Willingness to float to different units and adapt to variable patient ratios.
• Provide response indicating whether you have worked at a Providence facility previously, including location and dates.
• Submit references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) prior to start.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification (preferred).
• BLS certification (required).
• NIHSS certification (preferred).
