Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,484 per week
About the role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Potential to be placed on call or standby
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 5:1 on day shift, 6:1 at 11:00 PM; team nursing with LPNs at 2:7 ratios
- Common diagnoses include NHP, cellulitis, UTI, COPD, GU, pacemaker, sepsis, nursing home placements, and day surgical cases including ortho (hips and knees), cholecystectomies, appendectomies, and TURPS-CBI
- Must be comfortable with IV starts as there is no IV team on site
- Basic telemetry arrhythmia knowledge required; telemetry monitoring reviewed in ICU daily
- RN may be placed as relief charge nurse
- Nurse aides available on unit
- Hospitalist available on site until 6:00 PM daily, then via telehealth
- Respiratory therapy available 24/7; CPAP equipment on unit
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Critical Access or Trauma Level 3 or 4 experience preferred
- Experience with TURPS-CBI preferred
- Solid professional scrubs required; no specific color requirement
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred
Qualifications
- Must be able to float to like units and patients
- Must clock in and out at the facility

Pay
