Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,484 per week
About the role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, at a Level 2 Trauma acute care facility in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- 12-hour day/evening shifts starting at either 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM
- Option to work 36 hours per week
- Night shift hours available from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- No on-call or standby requirement
- Schedule made by scheduler with efforts to accommodate traveler scheduling requests; block scheduling preferred but cannot be fully guaranteed
- Department: Med Tele - 8N with 27 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: Day/Eve 1:4-5, Nights 1:6 (up to 1:7 if working short)
- Nurse aide support available with ratios of 1:7-9 on day/evening and 1:14 overnight
- Common diagnoses include oncology/hematology, general medical, GI bleed, PE/DVT, sepsis, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, FTT, and weakness
- Must have acute care experience and comfort with complex patients
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Must have experience with drips; RNs required to titrate drips including insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, amiodarone, and octreotide
- Must be comfortable managing and titrating blood transfusions
- No oncology or chemotherapy knowledge required
- Centralized tele techs monitor and read strips; RNs are asked to be tele aware
- Respiratory therapy available in-house 24/7; equipment may include continuous CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow O2
- Charge nurse and house supervisor on all shifts; travelers may be asked to step into charge role if comfortable, especially on night shift
- First to float within med-surg units; floating outside of med-surg for observer needs or helping hands only, done in 4-hour increments
- Scrub color: any color scrubs permitted; no logos from other health systems
- Orientation consists of 1 day of computer training/CBT/regulatory and one 12-hour shift on the floor
- Charting system: Cerner
- Required certification: BLS (AHA)

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
