About the role
Medical Surgical with Telemetry professionals are sought for a healthcare organization in a night shift position. This role involves delivering patient-centered care to diverse populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patients. The position requires self-studying telemetry strips and passing a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to qualify for work on the telemetry/medical surgical unit.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Minimum 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation in the ACU
Candidate may be required to float to other campuses, including the emergency department or critical care units, and may be placed on call during low census periods. ACU ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights; floating to critical care units is occasional for those with critical care experience.
Requirements
- Valid RN license or certification
- ACLS certification
- ERIC EMR experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months
- 0 years of experience minimum required
- Ability to self-study telemetry strips and pass a dysrhythmia test during the first week

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
