Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) in Reno, Nevada. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing knowledge of the nursing process within a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, often involving collaborative efforts with other healthcare professionals. The incumbent must demonstrate scientific and psychosocial expertise to meet the standards of quality care for diverse patient populations.

Job Details

• Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. The position may require floating to different units based on organizational needs, up to the competency level of the RN.

Required Qualifications

• NV RN license required prior to start

• Minimum of 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry (MS Tele) experience

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Must pass a telemetry competency exam that includes identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips

Additional Notes

• Travelers may be required to float as needed.

• An additional shift during the schedule period may be assigned.

• The organization reserves the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours notice, based on census and operational needs.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
