Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nursing in Glendale This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within the medical-surgical and telemetry units. The role includes supervising nursing staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of patient care according to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develops and implements care plans
• Coordinates care delivery
• Evaluates outcomes
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide a safe, healing environment
• Participates in discharge planning
• Delegates duties appropriately
• Performs other related activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Licensed registered nurse (RN) in the state of practice required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
• Must have Epic experience
• Must be able to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• All associates are required to receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, unless a medical or religious exemption applies
• Participates in E-Verify for employment eligibility verification
