About the role

Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Concord, New Hampshire. The role involves providing high-acuity medical-surgical care on a specialized telemetry unit. This position is suitable for local candidates and requires flexibility to float to other designated facilities in the area.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity medical-surgical care on a telemetry unit
• Float to other designated facilities in the area as needed
• Manage patient diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, gastrointestinal bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, end-of-life care, wounds, and other high-acuity conditions

Schedule

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week (minimum)
• 12-hour shifts

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• NURSYS license verification with all active RN licenses
• BLS certification
• NH State-specific certification (NHISS) prior to start
• ACLS certification
• Pass a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding (preferred score of 80%)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner electronic medical record experience

Additional Information

• Unit ratio: 1-5 (sometimes 6)
• Float options to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin in New Hampshire
• Approved time off (RTO) requests must be included at the time of submission
