Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,210 per week
Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing position located in an inpatient setting. The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process in coordination with the healthcare team. A strong focus on telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, and emergency response is required. The nurse will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips and passing a basic dysrhythmia test early in the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry inpatient setting
- Utilize the nursing process in coordination with the healthcare team
- Monitor telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies
- Self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test in the first week of the assignment
- Float to non-critical care inpatient units, including the Emergency Department if patients are boarded (float rotation may be required)
- Respond and arrive on-site within one hour when called during low census periods
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- ACLS and NIH certifications
- Previous Epic electronic medical record experience
- Ability to self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test in the first week
