Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,115 per week

Job Summary

This role involves providing patient care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical-surgical diagnoses, including post-surgical, orthopedic, neuro, and vascular conditions. The position requires flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs and adherence to unit protocols, especially those related to the ERAS program.

Position Details

• 12-hour day shifts, starting between 3-4 weeks due to compliance tiers, with biweekly start dates.
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week, with an on-call component.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent,
• Valid state license (MO or IL required at time of submittal),
• Minimum of 2 years of experience,
• BCLS certification,
• Experience with surgical patients following ERAS protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neurosurgery, total joint replacement, post-surgical care, orthopedic and neuro surgeries,
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system,
• Previous experience in a community hospital setting.

Additional Requirements

• On-call availability,
• Weekend shifts every other week,
• Floating within scope,
• Adherence to compliance deadlines.
