Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse in Marshalltown, Iowa. This position involves providing high-quality care to telemetry and post-operative surgical patients, including orthopedic and general surgery cases. The role requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring, medication drips, and EPIC charting, with responsibilities aligned to hospital standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to telemetry and post-operative surgical patients
• Read and measure telemetry strips
• Manage medication drips (insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone)
• Utilize EPIC electronic charting software

Requirements

• 24 months of current Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Active Iowa or multistate (compact) nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Orthopedic or general surgery care experience
• EPIC charting experience

Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start date: 08/31/2026
• Orientation sessions: 08/31, 09/08, and 09/14
