Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,020 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) nurses are needed for a facility in a location requiring at least a 50-mile radius from the workplace. The role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, managing diverse medical conditions such as cardiac, stroke, and general medical cases. The assignment starts 10/12/2026 and runs for 13 weeks (concluding 01/11/2027).

Requirements

• 2+ years of Medical Surgical (Med Surg)/Telemetry experience
• Prior travel work experience
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Active nursing license in Iowa or a compact state
• Active BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Active ACLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Active NIHSS Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to interview promptly via phone or text
• Must meet all profile requirements including a specific skills checklist
• Supervisory references completed within the last two years

Qualifications

• Experience with cardiac and stroke patient care
• Certification in NIHSS
• Prior travel experience in similar roles

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
