Located in Ohio, this role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care utilizing age-specific criteria. The position requires critical thinking and proficiency in telemetry monitoring, with a focus on cardiac medications and stroke recognition. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Ohio/OH or Compact registered nurse license; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; 2+ years of experience in medical surgical telemetry; familiarity with cardiac medications such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex, and knowledge of titration. Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include assessing patient status, recognizing and responding to signs of stroke, and managing telemetry and cardiac medications. Candidates must be competent in telemetry, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to recognize changes in patient condition. Submission requirements: current skills checklist relevant to Med Surg/Telemetry, valid Nursys active Ohio/OH or Compact RN license, and certifications as listed.
