Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,910 per week

About the role

This position involves providing specialized care within the medical-surgical department with telemetry monitoring. The role requires assessing and responding to patient needs, reading telemetry strips, and ensuring patient safety during shifts scheduled from 7 am to 7 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to patient needs
• Read telemetry strips
• Ensure patient safety during shifts
• Float rotation may be required within the scope of practice

Requirements

• Certified nursing professionals must be able to read telemetry strips
• Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation
• Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• CPI (or MAB)
• NIHSS

Schedule

• Dayshift
• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Orientation and assignment start dates: September 8th, September 22nd, October 6th, October 20th, November 3rd, November 17th, December 1st, December 15th
