Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,900 per week

Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN, day shift, 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026. This position involves floating between units within a short-term acute care facility that is a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The role focuses on caring for neurology patients and other neurology diagnoses, with emphasis on post-surgical care and NIH scale proficiency.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Education/Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Neuro Experience RN, comfortable with NIH scale, proficient in caring for post-surgical neurology patients and various neurology diagnoses
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required experience includes neuro patient care, charting in Epic, and the ability to float between units as needed
• Required clinical experience: BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), craniotomy, CVA, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neuro stepdown, pre/post neurosurgery, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury, telemetry, and traumatic brain injury care
• Works two weekends per schedule; pre-approved schedule flexibility for holidays and specific time-off requests during the application process
• Must provide two references covering one year during the last three years and respond to specific screening questions regarding previous employment at a similar facility
• Rapid onboarding required: modules completed pre-start and during orientation in Workramp
