Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,695 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) nurse needed for an assignment starting on 09/20/2026 in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care to adult patients with various medical conditions, including telemetry monitoring, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult patients with various medical conditions
• Perform telemetry monitoring
• Float to other medical-surgical units may be required

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 8 weeks (09/20/2026 to 11/15/2026)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN Illinois license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Epic experience
• 2+ years of clinical experience in nursing, including experience with Epic charting and travel assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization in neuro telemetry
• Care for patients with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) or transient ischemic attack (TIA)
• Post-op recovery from procedures such as whipples, esophagectomies, colon resections, and vascular surgery including peripheral angiograms and peripheral artery disease (PAD) with wounds
• Limb amputations
