Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Epic experience
- 2 years Med Surg/Telemetry background preferred; open to 1 year with strong Med Surg/Telemetry background
- Community hospital experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- 2 clinical references, at least 1 leadership reference from the last year
- Separation period of 1 year
Responsibilities
- Provide acute medical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit
- Float to the rehab unit as needed, ensuring seamless patient care transitions
- Utilize Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication administration efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
- Complete compliance documentation and requirements in a timely manner prior to start date
Pay
- Pay Range: $1,600.53 – $1,680.56 per 12-hour shift (subject to confirmation)
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
