About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a position in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for complex neurological and neurosurgical patients.
- Care for patients 48 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Float as needed to support hospital staffing needs.
- Work every other holiday and eight essential weekend shifts during each 6-week scheduling period.
- Work weekends including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience.
- Neuroscience or neuro acute-care experience strongly preferred.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
- Fifty-five five stroke-focused continuing education hours annually.
Qualifications
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of Massachusetts.
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN.
