Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $3,245 per week

About the role

This position involves providing specialized inpatient care within a busy medical surgical unit. The nurse will assess, document, and monitor adult trauma, orthopedic trauma, medical, and surgical patients, ensuring they receive high-quality, compassionate care according to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, document, and monitor adult trauma, orthopedic trauma, medical, and surgical patients
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care according to established protocols and standards
• Utilize electronic health records, including EPIC, for assessment, documentation, and operational procedures
• Float to various Medical Surgical units across multiple locations in Fargo as needed, including units at Broadway, SMCF, and South University

Requirements

• Active ND or Compact RN License
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday
• Flexible cycle with potential for consecutive day or night shifts
• Self-scheduling opportunities with guaranteed days off aligned with the contract

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy level one trauma center
• Epic electronic documentation proficiency
• Previous travel experience highly preferred

• Active license to submit
• Must note if the candidate has previously worked for Sanford Health with an end date at least six months prior to submission
