• Day shift 1:4-5
• Nights 1:5-6

Required Certifications

• BLS
• NIHSS

Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients

• Stroke
• Spine surgery
• Sepis
• Brain tumor
• Head injury
• Any neuroscience
• Some medical overflow

Experience or 'Must Have' Skills

• Must have level 1 trauma experience
• Must have previous travel experience (no first time travelers)
• Must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit

Are RNs Required to Titrate Drips?

Yes

Common Titratable &/or Set Rate Drips

• Heparin titrated drip based on PTT

Shifts & Scheduling

• 12's for nurses
• One shift
• Try to meet requests
• Will block if it is possible with staffing
