About the role
Deliver medical-surgical care in a hospital that values clinical excellence and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical-surgical care under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Assess patients' conditions and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care in electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) if required.
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least one year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications (preferred).
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Indiana RN license (compact accepted).
- Social Security Number required.
- Date of Birth required.
- Two references in the last 12 months.
Skills
- Electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (preferred).
