Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $3,005 per week

About the Role

Medical Surgical Floor RN position at a healthcare facility in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves providing skilled nursing care on a Medical Surgical Unit, working 12-hour night shifts with potential for float coverage across inpatient units. The position supports a diverse adult patient population with respiratory, neurological, gastrointestinal, and other acute conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients on a Medical Surgical Unit
• Care for patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal issues, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infections, and alcohol withdrawal
• Perform charting in EPIC
• Adapt to low census fluctuations
• Participate in holiday rotation (every other holiday)
• Float across inpatient units as needed

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Trauma level II experience highly preferred

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week
• Every other holiday rotation
