Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,005 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg at a facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This is a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour work week, featuring 12-hour night shifts.
Unit Details
- Number of Beds: 39
- Number of Staff: 60
- Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 unit secretary
- Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 (day shift), 1:6 (night shift)
- Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Arjo lifts, Novastat, computers in every room
- EMR System: Meditech
Requirements
- Active RN License and BLS certification
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong time management abilities
- Medication safety proficiency (minimum 98% scan/administration rate)
- Chemotherapy certification (preferred)
- Flexibility to work days or nights (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Perform typical Med Surg procedures
- Float to Surg/Ortho & Rehab units as needed
- Work two weekends per month
- On-call availability during low volume periods
