About the Role
Deliver care in a welcoming city with a strong sense of community. Manage a diverse patient population, including post-operative, orthopedic, neurological, and general medical cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse patient population, including post-operative, orthopedic, neurological, and general medical cases.
- Provide care in a supportive environment with 52 private rooms and access to respiratory therapy and pharmacy services around the clock.
- Float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
Requirements
- Hold an active RN license and have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Sunrise is recommended.
- Two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are preferred.
