About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Rockport, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg setting
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Assist with patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in a Med Surg setting preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Med Surg protocols and procedures
