Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,775 per week

Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse - Nights - Located in an Iowa healthcare facility, this position involves providing care to pulmonary and medical surgical patients. The role requires quick turnover during candidate interviews and offers the opportunity to float across multiple campuses. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027, with a schedule of nights, 12‑hour shifts, and a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of current Medical Surgical (MS) experience
• Pulmonary patient care experience including ventilated patients on Bi‑PAP and trach care
• Current Iowa State License or multi‑state compact license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional references from within the past 24 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent/current charge nurse experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Experience caring for COVID‑positive patients

Float

Float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist.

Contractor is required to work 1‑2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
