Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,775 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing assignment in Frankfort, Kentucky. Specialty: Med Surg; Discipline: RN; Start Date: 10/19/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts; Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; also attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Maintain proficiency in a wide variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered on a Med/Surg unit.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
