Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,480 per week

About the Role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Johnson City, New York. This position offers an opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment, emphasizing patient-centered care, health promotion, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Participate in various clinical initiatives.

Requirements

• Current NYS RN License.
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
• Nursing (RN) experience of at least 6 months to 3 years.
• Management experience of zero to 3 years.
• Five plus (5+) years of direct nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Prior clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting (preferred).
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (preferred).
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) (preferred).

Schedule

12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend. Assignment dates: 09/14/2026 to 12/12/2026.
