About the Unit
- Number of Beds: 33
- Number of Staff: 27 members
- Type of staff (dependent on census):
- Day Shift: 5 RNs, 1 clinical coordinator/charge (no patient group), 2-3 techs, 1 unit secretary
- Night Shift: 5 RNs (including charge nurse with patient group), 2-3 techs
- Patient Ratios: 5-6:1
- Type of equipment: Baxter IV pumps
- EMR: Meditech (EBCD version)
Required Skills & Certifications
- Must have (candidates without these will not be considered):
- Medical surgical experience
- Acute care setting experience
- Preferred or nice to have (candidates with these will be considered first):
- Oncology experience
- Chemotherapy experience
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Best personality fit: Positive and energetic. Values teamwork.
