Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,270 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located in a healthcare facility, is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical (MS) setting. This role involves float within multiple units, requiring flexibility and adherence to safety protocols, while supporting the organization's clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical (MS) setting
• Float within multiple units as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols
• Support the organization's clinical operations
• Float to the emergency room as needed
• Work weekends as required

Schedule

• Night shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedules made by the unit

Requirements

• Valid TN license or compact license on file at the time of submission
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Prior travel healthcare experience

Additional Information

• The unit serves adult patients over 18, with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:6
• Scrubs Navy are required
• EMR system used is Cerner
• The position involves floating within five Med/Surg units
• Orientation dates are scheduled for 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26
