Opportunity: RN - MedSurg

  • 13-week contract with ASAP start dates available
  • Variable day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • Float to Emergency Department within competency required
  • May be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
  • Work on a 25-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4-1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights
  • Generally see geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetes-related conditions
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required with ICU and ER experience required
  • Strong charting experience required with CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis for medication dispersion
  • Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS certification required
  • ACLS preferred but not required
  • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Any colored scrubs permitted
