13-week contract with ASAP start dates available
Variable day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
Float to Emergency Department within competency required
May be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
Work on a 25-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4-1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights
Generally see geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetes-related conditions
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required with ICU and ER experience required
Strong charting experience required with CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis for medication dispersion
Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS certification required
ACLS preferred but not required
Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Any colored scrubs permitted
