Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,268 per week
About the role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week contract starting August 3, 2026, at a full-service hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. The position offers 12-hour day/night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a $500 contract completion bonus.
Responsibilities
- Nurse to patient ratio: Day/PM 1:4 or 1:5, nights 1:5 to 1:7
- Pre and post-surgical care for adult and geriatric patients on a 40-bed inpatient unit
- Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
- Epic charting experience required
- Must have ability to multitask, prioritize patient care based on acuity, and work as a team
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Float to all inpatient units as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required with recent hospital experience
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- Required certifications: WI RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)
- Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Pay
Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), the estimated gross weekly pay is $2268 with a $500 contract completion bonus.
Schedule
12-hour day/night variable shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
