About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The assignment is located at MMC Las Cruces, 2450 S Telshor Blvd, Las Cruces, NM 88011.
Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Current state nursing license
- Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position
- Degree from an accredited school (or degree in corresponding specialty as required)
- Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
- Ability to communicate clearly (read, write, speak, and understand English)
- Minimum of 1 year specialty experience (RN)
- Allied 6 months of experience (if applicable)

Pay
Minimum pay rate: $58.50 per hour; maximum pay rate: $60.84 per hour.
Schedule
36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
