Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,173 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fairfield, Iowa. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on August 10, 2026.

Requirements

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Qualifications

• NICHSS certification preferred
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification preferred

Essential Work Functions

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Document comprehensive patient information
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Manage multiple patients efficiently
• Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences
• Ensure infection control practices are followed
