Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,142 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Med Surg position in Casper, Wyoming. 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM). Start date ASAP for a 9-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and coordinate with the care team.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of MedSurg experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license in Wyoming (verified within the last 30 days).
• Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from an approved vendor.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.

Schedule

• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
• Weekend and on-call requirements to be determined by the facility.
