About the role
The healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Floor Nurse for a 13-week contract in Aberdeen, Washington. This role involves night shifts from 6:45 PM to 3:15 AM, with a schedule of 36 hours weekly, every other weekend off, and opportunities to earn extra shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical-surgical nursing care on the floor
- Work night shifts (6:45 PM – 3:15 AM), 36 hours per week
- Float to other departments in rotation as needed
Requirements
- Current Washington State license or multi-state license
- Approved six-hour suicide training
- Verification of demographics from Nursys
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Qualifications
- Experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Team player attitude
- Willingness to float to other departments in rotation
- Knowledge of Meditech is a plus but not mandatory
Schedule
- Start date: August 31, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend off
