Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,120 per week

About the role

This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical unit. The role emphasizes patient safety, efficient care coordination, and adherence to organizational standards within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The RN will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the adult patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs
• Developing individualized care plans
• Performing clinical interventions
• Participating in patient education and discharge planning
• Utilizing effective communication strategies
• Delegating tasks appropriately
• Maintaining a professional, supportive work environment
• Floating to all Medical-Surgical departments as required
• Ensuring timely documentation and quality care provision according to standards

Requirements

• Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
• Two years of clinical nursing experience

Schedule

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start date: 09/14/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
