Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,110 per week

About the role

The role requires a travel nurse RN with 2+ years of experience in Med Surg, specifically preferred with Peds experience. The position offers a 13-week duration starting ASAP, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a Med Surg setting
• Perform pediatric advanced cardiac life support (PALS)
• Administer advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) as needed
• Implement crisis prevention institute (CPI) techniques as required
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current CPI certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute within 12 months
• Must not have worked for any Ochsner facilities in the last year

Qualifications

• Must live at least 65+ miles from the facility

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in Med Surg
• Pediatric experience preferred
