Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,074 per week

Specialty: Med Surg • Discipline: RN • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the 6th Floor Acute Medical/Surgical unit of a 225-bed Level II Trauma Center.
• Manage patient ratios ranging from 5:1 to 6:1 for an adult and geriatric population (ages 18–125).
• Operate telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, Dynamaps, and Cerner EHR.
• Float occasionally to “like” units as needed.
• Adhere to rotating weekend hours and strict attendance policies (second absence triggers a formal warning; third absence results in contract termination; all absences must be made up).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical unit (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• Must live 60 miles or greater away from Marquette, MI to qualify as a travel candidate.

• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue (Navy also acceptable)
